I have previuosly had a POP gmail account in Outlook Deleted it. They insist on IMAP only. I want all my accounts in one POP folder that I can place at my discretion.

I removed the POP Gmail account and have attempted to add it back as described above. I’ve checked everything at the Gmail end and am set up for POP there. I checked for Recent Security Events, and there’s nothing unusual there – a grand total of three events, all accounted for.

It took several attempts but it finally configured as desired. Even after several attempts, the option was saving. Finally it did and the account was able to be configured. Have no idea why this occurred but it’s not an Outlook issue. The pages appear to be источник accurate, safe information.
