Do not buy this product. I could not believe this – I purchased it, being familiar with the Nero name, installed it, and popped in a Blu-ray disc to watch. It won’t even recognize the disc format. After hunting around on the internet I found this in Nero’s support forums: “having installed it, now find there is NO BluRay player included in the bundle – it seems to have been removed with NO notice.
I’ll never buy a Nero product again. For background I have used Nero for years and usually purchase a newer version every couple of years.
I have always enjoyed Nero and I feel I had gotten my money’s worth out of it. I purchased Nero 16 and had the software for maybe weeks then they removed HD-audio support in an update, had to go back to previous version. To remove features from software you purchased after the fact is deplorable. It may have happened because of licensing issues or what not, but to pay for something to perform a specific function only to have it removed is a slap in the face.
I will never purchase future versions of Nero. I gave “Tech Support” a single star only because I have no idea what such support might have been. Certainly I haven’t needed any such support. And, hello??!! Wot’s “warmth” gotta do with Nero software. It’s not a lap robe or mittens, after all.

I am running Windows 7 and have not had problems installing other software. I have used Nero before and it worked well so this surprised me. I contacted Nero support on two different occasions and each time received a robo e-mail that they would contact me in two business day’s. That was one and two weeks ago respectively.
They never got back to me. So I posted a negative review here. I was then contacted by Nero and given instructions on how to repair the installation. It installed without a problem. Product does what it is suppose to do.

I could not verify this was Nero so didn’t let him remote in. He also refused to tell me how to fix it myself. Why is it so hard to find software that works for burning Blu-rays!!!?

Anyway, Nero works flawlessly in my experience. It seems capable of doing pretty much any type of audio or video file conversion that I might ever want to do and was well worth the purchase. I’m using Windows Verified Purchase. This program is awesome! I dont know why it is getting bad reviews.
That 25 minutes included pre tests before burning. I burnt Disc says 25GB but Only holds This was my first burn on this programme and on the LG bluray re writer.
Data verification took 10 minutes, so total run time took 35 minutes. If you dont run data tests before or check disc afterwards it would take 15 minutes to burn If any problems surface i will update this review.
Nero Recode is a dud. I am running Windows So far everything works as expected for simple disc burning etc. Sadly, there hardly any options when converting music files using Nero Recode. I have used any Video Utilities included with Nero as I use other programs for that sort of thing. It took me over 20 minutes for my computer to read the disc.
I had to blow air twice on the disc and finally it read the software. After burning 4 different music CDs. The last 2 sounded terrible with awful cracking noise. Also one Cd didn’t get all the last tracks completely burn. I had nero 6 before and I dont remember ever giving me a bad CD, I will try to figure out what is wrong first before I change my rating.
I had to get an upgrade as my XP was obsolete more or less and was happy with my Nero 6 but I am equally happy with this newer program. The feature I like the most is when I select a track it stays highlighted so I know where I am. I don’t like that you can’t select a blank set of cover templates, you can get around it but is steps that I wish I could avoid.
